Commissioning Technician

What your day-to-day will look like:

Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on LRVs using mechanical drawings, schematics, circuit location plans, shop machinery, and hand tools.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in LRV control circuits and onboard systems using Portable Test Units (PTUs), laptops, and other diagnostic tools.
Determine corrective actions, make job recommendations, and clearly communicate technical updates verbally and in writing.
Read, interpret, and maintain written or electronic documentation while compiling accurate reports.
Follow company and industry safety standards while collaborating with and supporting team members as needed.

To thrive in this role, you have:

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the Siemens vehicle plan.
