Security Officer Enhanced Flexible Patrol

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting security-related concerns and sharing relevant information with site contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with directions, and report security-related issues in accordance with post instructions.
Support healthcare operations by assisting with visitor management, observing for disruptions, and communicating with staff regarding security-related incidents and/or policy concerns.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
