Security Officer Enhanced Care Patrol

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and directing individuals to the proper department or contact when needed.
Assist with healthcare location protocols by observing for patient assistance needs, supporting de-escalation efforts when appropriate, and communicating with staff regarding security-related issues and/or urgent situations.
Minimum Requirements:

Hospital assignments require vaccines.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
