Donor Communications and Campaigns Executive Fellow

Position Summary:

The Donor Communications & Campaigns Fellow will support OU fundraising communications across Membership, Benefactor Circle, and crowdfunding campaigns, helping translate OU’s mission into clear, donor-centered messaging. This role is designed as a pipeline to permanent fundraising and communications roles.

Responsibilities:

Draft and edit donor-facing email communications for Membership and mid-level giving, Benefactor Circle, and Crowdfunding campaigns
Support stewardship communications following campaigns and donor milestones
Collaborate with fundraising, marketing, and program teams to ensure messaging accuracy and alignment
Build email sends directly within the OU’s email platform, following established templates and tone
Assist with landing page copy and related campaign content
Track basic performance metrics and, as skills develop, support testing and optimization efforts
Maintain organized files, templates, and messaging resources

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required
Excellent writing and editing skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Interest in fundraising, communications, or nonprofit development
Comfort working within established voice and brand guidelines
Familiarity with Jewish communal language and Orthodox context strongly preferred
