Director, eCare Development

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of progressive software development experience with at least three years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of successfully managing software development projects from conception through deployment, including lead and mentor development teams.
Strong technical proficiency in modern development languages such as C#, SQL, Angular, etc. and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and software development lifecycle management.
Relevant experience may substitute for educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
Experience developing cloud-based applications with background in healthcare technology, digital health, or member-facing applications.
Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements including HIPAA compliance and data security standards.
Experience with DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
Knowledge of API development, microservices architecture, and modern web technologies.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage teams of software developers and analysts, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and timelines, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes across the development team.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
Participate in architecture and design reviews, providing technical guidance and ensuring scalability and maintainability.
Manage resource allocation, sprint planning, and prioritization of development work across multiple projects.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and development tools to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
