Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor CCTV, access control, alarm, and other security systems to identify and respond to incidents in real time
Dispatch security personnel and coordinate responses across the TD Centre property
Receive, assess, and prioritize incoming calls, alarms, and requests for assistance
Maintain clear and accurate incident reports, logs, and daily activity records
Escalate incidents appropriately to supervisors, emergency services, or client contacts based on established protocols
Conduct video investigations and support incident reviews as required
Maintain constant communication with on-site security teams via radio and phone
Track ongoing incidents through to resolution and ensure proper follow-up is completed
Identify potential risks or unusual activity and take proactive steps to mitigate concerns
Support emergency response procedures including fire alarms, medical incidents, and building-related emergencies
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with site procedures, client expectations, and company standards

Prerequisites:

Ability to obtain a Security License in the province of Ontario.
Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider.
Emergency Management Certification.
Crisis Intervention Training.
Minimum three (3) years of security experience in a supervisory, dispatch, or team lead capacity within a large-scale commercial or industrial environment.
Proficiency with site-specific security infrastructure, including Lenel OnGuard access control, Keywatcher key management systems, and Avigilon Control Center (ACC) surveillance software.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills required for a high-volume, dynamic environment.
Ability to remain calm and effectively manage complex incidents under pressure.
Strong report writing, documentation, and operational oversight skills.
Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin’s Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
