Job description

Responsibilities:
• Lead business analysis activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring issues are identified promptly, addressed effectively, and escalated when timelines or outcomes may be at risk.
• Partner with stakeholders, consultants, and external vendors to gather, validate, and document business needs, process flows, and functional expectations.
• Produce and maintain clear project documentation, including business requirements, meeting notes, action logs, and status updates for leadership and delivery teams.
• Facilitate discussions between business and technical participants to align priorities, resolve gaps, and support informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Use tools such as Jira, Excel, and Word to track progress, organize requirements, monitor dependencies, and maintain visibility across project activities.
• Support Agile delivery practices by helping manage backlogs, clarifying user needs, and contributing to planning, testing, and implementation readiness.
• Provide hands-on coordination for finance-related and enterprise system initiatives, including work involving SAP environments and vendor-led solution delivery.
• Help prepare the organization for key implementation milestones by monitoring deliverables, following up on open items, and maintaining momentum across all assigned activities.

Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, with a strong track record of supporting complex enterprise or technology-focused initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience creating business requirement documents and other structured project documentation for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile Scrum practices and experience contributing to delivery in iterative project environments.
• Proficiency with Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word for requirements management, tracking, and reporting.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders and external partners, with the ability to communicate clearly and influence decisions effectively.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and SAP HANA-related environments, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Solid understanding of IT project management principles, including risk identification, dependency tracking, and issue resolution.
• Ability to work on-site in Toronto, Ontario four days per week in a hands-on, high-accountability contract role.
