Job description
Responsibilities:
• Provide courteous and detail-oriented assistance to clients across in-person, phone, and email interactions, ensuring a positive service experience.
• Support account-related requests, including assisting with new account setup, processing routine transactions, and responding to walk-in client needs at the branch.
• Speak with clients to understand their banking or financial service needs and direct them to the appropriate specialist or self-serve channel when suitable.
• Maintain accurate records by completing data entry, updating client information, and documenting service activities in a timely manner.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and complete follow-up communications as needed to resolve issues and support ongoing client requests.
• Remain informed about the organization’s products and services in order to provide relevant guidance and appropriate referrals.
• Follow established regulatory, privacy, and internal compliance standards in all client interactions and daily tasks.
• Contribute to branch operations and take on additional duties as required, including supporting the hybrid work model with regular office attendance.
Requirements
• 2+ years of customer service experience, with at least 1 year in financial services; branch banking experience preferred.
• Fully bilingual in English and French with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
• Able to adapt quickly, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of AML/KYC requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with banking systems such as DNA is an asset.
