Project Manager – Data Governance

Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of data governance projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.

• Lead cross-functional teams, including IT and business stakeholders, to implement Informatica tools such as Axon and Data Quality.

• Develop and maintain governance frameworks to enhance data integrity and operational efficiency.

• Utilize cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure tools such as Synapse and Databricks, to support data management initiatives.

• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to established processes.

• Facilitate stakeholder communication and engagement to ensure alignment and transparency throughout project lifecycles.

• Oversee change management practices to support smooth transitions and adoption of new data systems.

• Implement strategies to improve data quality and master data management processes.

• Use Atlassian Jira to track project progress and manage workflows effectively.

• Identify risks and create mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Requirements
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data governance.

• Proficiency in Informatica tools, including Axon, Data Quality, and other related technologies.

• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure environment and toolsets such as Synapse, Databricks, Function Apps, and Logic Apps.

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

• Experience with Atlassian Jira for tracking and managing project workflows.

• Solid understanding of cloud technologies and enterprise data systems.

• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualifications.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
