Job description
Responsibilities
Management
Administer benefit payment programs (e.g. director car stipend, fitness reimbursements, dependent scholarship program). Process garnishment and withholding orders such as tax levies, child support judgments, etc. Serve as back-up to other team members. Maintain knowledge of applicable payroll laws as required.
Assist
Assist personnel at all levels across the enterprise by answering payroll related inquiries. Assist with the filing of employee records and employment verifications.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Experience
Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a payroll environment preferred.
Skills
Strong organizational, problem resolution, verbal and written communication skills. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and within established deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g., Excel, Word, Oracle HCM).
