EEG Tech II

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. Two or more years of experience in the performance of EEG procedures OR the candidate is a graduate from an accredited program.
Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) accredited ENDT program or an Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is desired.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Credentialed as a Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (R. EEG T.) or board eligible by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) standards.
Current BLS certification.
Candidate will be required to pass ABRET Registry board exams within 2 years of hire date.
