Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership & Strategy

Develop and execute DOROT’s technology strategy in alignment with organizational goals and operational priorities.
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology planning, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and emerging technology trends.
Lead technology budgeting, resource planning, lifecycle management, and long-term infrastructure planning.
Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness through innovative technology solutions.

IT Operations & Infrastructure

Oversee DOROT’s enterprise technology environment, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and responsive to organizational needs.
Direct day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure management, system administration, and technology support services.
Establish and maintain technology policies, procedures, standards, and governance practices.
Lead technology implementations, upgrades, integrations, and critical incident response efforts.

Enterprise Applications & Data Management

Manage and optimize enterprise platforms, including Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and other business-critical applications.
Partner with departmental leaders to improve workflows through automation, reporting, analytics, and technology-enabled process improvements.
Support organizational data governance and promote data-informed decision-making across DOROT.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

Lead DOROT’s cybersecurity program, including risk assessment, vulnerability management, security awareness training, incident response, and compliance initiatives.
Coordinate with managed security providers, consultants, and technology partners to maintain a strong security posture.
Ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect organizational data, systems, and technology assets.

Team Leadership & Service Excellence

Manage, mentor, and develop a team responsible for IT support, infrastructure, and database administration.
Foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture focused on responsiveness, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Provide guidance on complex technical issues and support effective technology adoption throughout the organization.

Vendor & Resource Management

Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, managed service providers, and software partners.
Oversee software licensing, cloud services, hardware procurement, contracts, and technology investments.
Evaluate vendor performance and ensure technology resources deliver maximum value to DOROT.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible information technology leadership experience, including at least three years in a management role.
Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology operations and organization-wide technology initiatives.
Experience managing and optimizing enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, Salesforce, or comparable business systems.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, systems administration, and user support.
Proven ability to lead technology projects from planning through implementation and adoption.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred

Experience within nonprofit, healthcare, education, or other mission-driven organizations.
Familiarity with artificial intelligence technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
Experience working with managed service providers and external technology consultants.
