Security Officer Enhanced Intake

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor access, and supporting security-related protocols for a healthcare location.
Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized access in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
Answer questions, direct patients, visitors, and staff to appropriate areas, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns and/or assistance needs.
Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.
Hospital vaccinations are required.
Must be able to work in and around the hospital morgue.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
