Security Officer Hospital Foot Patrol

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Assist with monitoring entrances, lobbies, and/or restricted areas, helping to manage visitor activity and support an orderly environment for daily operations.
Document observations, incidents, and/or security-related activities in a clear and timely manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts as needed.
Minimum Requirements:

Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
This position is located in a hospital setting and may involve work in or around the morgue.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
