Operations & Media Buying Intern
What You’ll Do
Media Buying Support
Support the media buying team with the setup, launch, and monitoring of digital advertising campaigns.
Assist with uploading campaign assets, tracking links, targeting settings, and other campaign requirements.
Help monitor campaign performance and flag significant changes or potential issues to the team.
Support basic campaign optimizations under the guidance of experienced media buyers.
Help organize creatives, campaign information, and performance data across different platforms.
Campaign Operations
Support the day-to-day coordination of active campaigns and offers.
Help ensure campaign details, tracking links, budgets, and documentation are accurate and up to date.
Assist with quality checks before campaigns are launched.
Coordinate with internal teams to help resolve campaign-related questions or operational issues.
Help maintain internal trackers, reports, and campaign documentation.
Support the team with general administrative and operational tasks.
Reporting & Analytics
Assist with preparing daily and weekly campaign performance reports.
Review key metrics such as spend, revenue, conversions, cost per acquisition, and return on investment.
Help identify basic trends, unusual performance changes, and areas requiring further review.
Ensure campaign data is accurately recorded and shared with the relevant stakeholders.
Learn how performance data is used to make campaign optimization and business decisions.
What You Bring
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Economics, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Strong interest in digital advertising, performance marketing, media buying, or campaign operations.
Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and performance data.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
Analytical mindset and curiosity about why campaigns perform differently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Previous internship experience, coursework, or personal projects related to digital marketing or analytics is an asset, but not required.
