What You’ll Do

Work with system owners to develop requirements and transform LIMS into a usable system within the systems development life cycle (SDLC) framework.
Develop, test, and maintain LIMS databases, user interfaces, and internal/external reports using LIMS Basic, Smalltalk, Postgres, SQL, Crystal Reports, and related languages and tools.
Develop, test, and maintain middleware interfaces among the CTI LIMS system and instrumentation in all CTI laboratory locations.
Utilize LIMS internal and external utilities to investigate, debug, and correct individual, procedural, and systemic errors or faults.
Work with and support IT staff to create and implement best practices for processes and systems; provide leadership to other developers.
Communicate IT expectations and results within the organization and to clients.
Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain appropriate project documentation.
Participate in system validation activities as needed.
Perform, track, and manage related project work as assigned in DevOps and other work tracking systems.
Identify areas for improvement and provides detailed recommendations to IT leadership.
What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
5 years industry experience in related field
Experience with programming languages such as LIMS Basic, Smalltalk, Postgres, Remisol, SQL, Crystal Reports and pgAdmin.
