Job description
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Systems Management
Maintain full accountability for all physical stock, including water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, UV purifiers, and system components.
Execute daily cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
Reconcile physical inventory against the company ERP or inventory management system.
Set and adjust minimum/maximum reorder points for recurring parts like filters, resin, and fittings.
Track serial numbers for high-value equipment to manage warranty tracking.
Logistics, Receiving & Fleet Support
Inspect all incoming freight shipments for accuracy, damage, and order completion.
Stage equipment and customized “parts kits” for service technicians’ daily routes.
Manage vendor returns, core tracking, and defective product warranty claims.
Optimize the physical warehouse layout to maximize space and speed up tech loading times.
Oversee the receiving and safe storage of bulk chemical deliveries (e.g., system sanitizers).
Safety, Compliance & Facilities
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
Ensure full compliance with OSHA safety standards, specifically regarding lifting protocols and chemical storage.
Manage the facility’s material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Coordinate the safe disposal of used filtration media, spent resins, and old equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Experience
Experience: 3–5 years in warehouse management, inventory control, or industrial logistics.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in plumbing supply, HVAC, water treatment, or mechanical service industries is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with barcode scanning software, Excel, and inventory ERP platforms.
Certifications: Valid driver’s license and forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
Physical & General Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs frequently (e.g., brine tanks, salt bags, filtration media).
Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to part numbers, sizes, and fractions.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate between field technicians, purchasing agents, and suppliers.
Ability to reliably commute to our facility in Milford, NH.
