*Description:*
Our client is a growing behavioral health and outpatient healthcare organization seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong healthcare accounting background, with experience in medical groups, outpatient services, or similar healthcare settings.

*Responsibilities:*
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and payroll
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals

*Qualifications:*
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4–7+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a Controller or senior accounting role
• Healthcare accounting experience required (substance abuse experience not required)
• CPA is a plus but not required
