What You’ll Do:

Teach in a truly personalized way — one student or small group at a time.
Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
Keep student records accurate and organized.
Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous education or experience must include one, or a combination of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education
Minimum of 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, and/or Physical Education
Expertise in the relevant subject area
Enrollment in a program for, or completion of, a Personal Trainer certification
Current CPR Certification
Ability and willingness to teach a wide variety of PE & health courses (athletic sports, dance, board sports, personal fitness, group classes, health), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
