Security Officer Entry Screening

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or team members by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and Allied Universal guidelines at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorized access, and help to deter unauthorized activity through consistent screening and observation practices.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting security-related concerns and documenting observations according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
