Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day production across Lost Tribe’s game development projects, with an initial focus on Fortnite/UEFN experiences.
Manage and support internal game development staff, including UEFN developers and other technical or creative team members.
Coordinate outside contractors, including developers, 3D artists, level designers, writers, technical artists, and other project-based contributors.
Build and maintain project timelines, production plans, task lists, milestones, and delivery schedules across multiple simultaneous projects.
Translate high-level creative, educational, or partner goals into clear production plans and actionable development tasks.
Work closely with Lost Tribe leadership to scope new projects, estimate resources, identify risks, and determine what is realistic within budget and timeline constraints.
Help guide creative direction, player experience, gameplay loops, and overall project quality.
Review builds, provide feedback, organize playtests, track bugs, and ensure projects meet quality standards before launch or delivery.
Maintain production systems and documentation so that projects are organized, repeatable, and easier to scale over time.
Support the development of partner-funded projects, including MetaCamps, educational games, and other digital experiences.
Help identify new opportunities for Lost Tribe in platforms such as Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite, and other emerging digital environments.
Serve as a thought partner in shaping Lost Tribe’s broader interactive media strategy, including what platforms, tools, and formats the department should explore next.
Collaborate with the Discord/community team to connect game projects with community engagement, playtesting, events, and youth creator opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing and content teams to support trailers, screenshots, walkthrough videos, launch plans, and other promotional assets.
Stay current on trends in Fortnite Creative, UEFN, Roblox, Minecraft, gaming, youth culture, online communities, and interactive education.
Qualifications:
Experience producing, managing, or coordinating game development projects, interactive media projects, digital experiences, or similar creative/technical work.
Strong understanding of game development workflows, including design, art, development, QA, playtesting, launch, and iteration. ? Familiarity with Fortnite Creative, UEFN, Unreal Engine, Minecraft, Roblox, or similar game creation platforms.
Ability to manage multiple projects, contributors, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate between creative, technical, educational, and stakeholder needs.
Comfortable working with both internal team members and external contractors.
Strong attention to detail, especially around deadlines, scope, quality, and deliverables.
Creative instincts and a strong understanding of what makes digital experiences fun, engaging, and meaningful for different audiences.
Ability to give clear, constructive feedback on gameplay, environments, user experience, and overall project quality.
Interest in Jewish education, Israel engagement, youth culture, gaming, online communities, or nonprofit innovation.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where projects may evolve quickly and require creative problem solving.
Nice to have:
Experience with UEFN, Unreal Engine, Roblox Studio, Minecraft server/community development, or other game development tools.
Experience managing contractors, vendors, freelancers, or distributed creative teams.
Background in game design, level design, creative production, education technology, youth programming, or digital media.
Familiarity with tools such as Trello, Notion, Jira, Asana, Miro, Figma, Discord, GitHub, Google Workspace, or similar production/collaboration platforms.
Experience creating or managing game trailers, screenshots, walkthrough videos, or promotional materials.
Understanding of and experience with organizations utilizing Jewish education, camps, teen engagement, Israel education, or informal learning environments.
Experience building or managing online communities, creator programs, game jams, or youth-led digital projects.
