Job description
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate single- and multidisciplinary teams throughout the full project lifecycle (initiation through close-out)
Manage complex small- to medium-sized projects, or serve as a key leader on larger efforts
Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring successful delivery on schedule, budget, and quality
Perform and oversee analysis and design for:
Coastal restoration projects
Beach nourishment projects
Shoreline protection systems (revetments, living shorelines)
Sea level rise and resilience assessments
Navigation and dredging projects (marinas, harbors, channels)
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, participating in marketing and business development efforts
Lead or support:
Proposal development
Scope definition
Fee and cost estimates
Facilitate design workshops and coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders
Plan and manage staffing and workload across the project lifecycle
Track and manage project financials, adjusting resources to meet budget and schedule targets
Partner with accounting, operations, and business leadership on project performance reviews
Ensure adherence to and implementation of QA/QC procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Coastal, Ocean, or Civil engineering preferred
PMP certification
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field
7 years related experience
A minimum of 2 years project management experience
Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
