OTC Warehouse/Distribution Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY:

The OTC Warehouse/Distribution Clerk assists in the general operation of the pharmacy and is responsible for the proper organization of the medications and supplies as well as rotation and inventory control of products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensure to keep the warehouse, equipment and work vehicle clean and organized by compartments.
Maintain control of the raw material that is needed from the packaging area. Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the space.
Control the inventory of OTC medicines according to their categories and storage requirements, monitoring the rotation of medicines by expiration date.
Maintain the shelves of the OTC medication packaging area organized and stocked on a daily basis, complying with the established protocols and procedures.
Inform your Team Leader about any problem that arises in the warehouse area or related to OTC transportation.
Control the distribution of medicines according to their categories and packaging and handling requirements.
Participate in the general inventory of the pharmacy as part of the programming of said activity.
Operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures as required.
Adhere and follow all applicable company policies and procedures and government regulations.
Ensure the safe keeping and confidentiality of information and operational strategies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one (1) year of clerical experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or pharmacy.
Proactive and have the ability to work well independently and as a team.
Professional, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and a continuous learner.
Solid ability to handle confidential information appropriately and with integrity.
?Highly organized with strong time management and project management skills. ??
Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required by the need of the operation.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
