Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with law firms, attorneys, and their staff to ensure seamless communication regarding case progress, settlement status, and disbursement of funds. Foster long-term partnerships with key stakeholders by streamlining case updates, enhancing collaboration, and aligning strategies to support the goals of the firm, plaintiffs and our company.
Oversee the ongoing development of cases by maintaining open and continuous communication with legal partners; using information collected to provide strategic recommendations to internal staff, and escalating critical issues to internal legal and risk teams to mitigate any potential losses.
Continuously assess, monitor, and document case-related risks as they evolve, ensuring that updates are accurately captured in our servicing systems. Evaluate adverse case developments by making well-informed recommendations for escalations and/or write-offs, when necessary.
Conduct thorough docket searches via public databases, review and analyze court docket documents and identify key action items. Document findings in the servicing system and coordinate follow-ups with relevant parties to ensure timely resolution.
Update the Microsoft CRM with detailed insights gathered from interactions with law firms, attorneys, and their staff. Leverage this information to propose enhancements that optimize both the functionality and efficiency of the servicing system, contributing to better business outcomes.
Engage in proactive, relationship-driven communication with legal partners and plaintiffs to gather compliance data on cases and advances. Focus on building meaningful, long-term relationships through outbound interactions that prioritize collaboration and trust over transactional outreach.
Support the team’s objectives by developing and executing on strategic projects which will focus on analyzing trends or generating operational efficiencies.

EDUCATION, SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Paralegal certification preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience in searching and interpreting court dockets in state and federal courts throughout the U.S.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional, quality work product.
Strong relationship management skills with a focus on building trust and rapport with attorneys, law firms, and plaintiffs.
Highly effective project management skills with a self-starter aptitude and the ability to be self-directed.
