Requirements:

1-2 years of previous experience handling sanitation chemicals
High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
Ability to read the English language
Job Responsibilities:

Sanitation Coordinators are expected to assist Sanitation Associates (I) with questions related to their job duties and tasks. Sanitation Coordinators are responsible for understanding and verifying that department processes/SOPs are executed by fellow Sanitation Associates (I).

Essential Duties:

Assist in the training of newly hired Sanitation Associates (I)
Complete daily housekeeping, assignments, CIP logs, checklists, and other Sanitation documents
Conduct weekly inventory of sanitation products and notify supervisor of low stock
Ensure cleanliness of work area to maintain a safe work environment
Model, reinforce, and demonstrate safe work practices and procedures, including wearing required PPE and following OSHA safety guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Demonstrate teamwork as well as the ability to work independently
Demonstrate good decision-making and judgement
Strong attention to detail
Previous experience with CIP (preferred)

Involves constant movement around the facilities, occasionally in a wet/humid environment (80-90°F) or cold environment (30-40°F)
Frequent and repetitive reaching/pushing/pulling motions to wipe, dust, sweep, mop and clean facilities
Frequent bending/stooping/crouching to perform sanitation duties in a confined space
Frequent pushing of a 75 lb. trash/glass barrel cart throughout the facility and unloading of materials into outdoor waste containers
Frequent lifting of 25-50 lb. trash bags to unload into outdoor waste containers
Involves frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and constant exposure to electrical equipment and chemicals used for sanitization
The noise level in this work environment is occasionally above 84 dB and requires earplugs to be worn
May involve occasional operation of floor scrubber for cleaning and transporting materials (training provided)
Employees may occasionally perform work in a highly elevated position requiring balance
Employees are required to stand for the majority of their work shift
