Jewish Camping Grants Officer

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience in the camping field
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
Knowledge of strong Jewish camps in the United States and Israel programs for American students
Familiarity with the foundation and philanthropic sector
Strong communication skills and ability to work with others
Ability to respond to changing priorities and conditions with flexibility and sound judgement
Experience in grant initiation, development, monitoring, and analysis

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Remain current on research, activities, and trends in the area of Jewish camping
Identify opportunities for grant investment in the Jewish camping sector consistent with the foundation’s mission
Participate in proposal review and due diligence processes
Monitor grantee compliance with grant agreements and reporting requirements
Generate reports for the board and/or committees of the board
Liaise with foundation’s finance office as part of grants management
Perform such other duties as might be required
