AV Event Technician

Key responsibilities:

Set up and operate supplied infrastructure, equipment and applications in dedicated live event spaces and meeting rooms to deliver live events

Ensure operational availability of allocated event spaces and meeting rooms carrying out all regular and pre-event equipment checks

Perform L1/L2 incident management

Attend post event debriefs for each event

Contribute to ongoing development of operating procedures and processes

Participate in problem management activities

Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly

Demonstrate Self Service AV and VC Capabilities to end users wherever possible

Assist with support for video/audio conferencing problems; investigating faults and recommend further actions to rectify

Skills & experience:

Proven experience working within an AV / VC support role

Solid background in supporting live events

Experience must have been gained working in a corporate environment, providing a white-glove service to clients

Technically strong across a variety of AV & VC technologies
