Security Officer Hospital Response Driver

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility grounds, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as directed, and providing directions or assistance to patients and visitors.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:

Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
