Homecare Billing Specialist

Position Summary

The Home Care Billing Specialist at MorseLife Health System is responsible for accurately processing and managing all billing activities related to Home Care services, ensuring timely and compliant reimbursement.

How You’ll Make an Impact

· Act as liaison for the Home Care Business Office.

· Manages the systems and processes for Home Care billing.

· Coordinates with the Home Care schedulers to ensure accurate and efficient revenue capture.

· Manages the billing software systems for the Home Care entities.

· Coordinates billing software training as necessary.

· Implement collection procedures for accounts not making payment in accordance with their

contract, following established procedures established by the department.

· Refund credit balances in accordance with the regulations of Home Care. Prepare the refund

form to be approved by the Business Office Manager and Controller.

· Responsible for the system’s month-end close.

· Crosstrain as a Physician Billing and Credentialing Specialist.

· Post and reconcile daily cash receipts and remittances as necessary.

· Perform all other duties as assigned.
