Job description
General Statement of Duties:
Instruct program participants in a classroom environment. Assess student performance and maintains student records.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Classroom instruction in Shop Mathemathics, and one or more of the following subjects: Computer Science, Material Handling, Logistics, CNC, Bluepring Reading, Robotics, or Welding.
Assists the supervisor of academic instruction with the maintenance of student classroom discipline standards.
Periodically evaluates student progress and documents the assessment.
Assists student counselor in his/her activities to ensure student achievement of program training goals.
Supervision Received: Perform duties as assigned under the supervision of the Machinist Training Institute Manager.
Position will require between 15 and 20 hours per week from the hours of 9am – 2pm

Physical Requirements:

Education, Training and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on vocational education, math, or engineering, or journey person with at least five years’ experience.
