Judaics and Hebrew Teachers

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Must love working with kids and enjoy thinking creatively to get kids excited about learning, fostering a love of Judaism, and/or improving their Hebrew skills.

· Provide a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates joyous learning

· Prepare lesson plans that support active and engaging learning using the curriculum resources and training provided

· Communicate with parents what was learned

· Attend training sessions

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

· Bachelor of Education

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

· Experience teaching in a synagogue school, camp, or similar educational environment·

· Knowledge of Hebrew and Jewish texts

· Demonstrated experience developing lesson plans and classroom activities with Hebrew and/or Judaic content

· Ability to successfully work in a collaborative environment.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE (All positions are on-site and require teaching in person)

· Sundays from 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM

· Tuesdays from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
