Open Positions

1st Grade Religious School Teacher – Sundays, 9:00–11:30 a.m.
2nd Grade Religious School Teacher – Sundays, 9:00–11:30 a.m.
3rd Grade Religious School Teacher – Sundays, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

Teach engaging, interactive Religious School classes for elementary-age students.
Foster a warm, inclusive, and welcoming classroom community.
Teach Jewish holidays, Torah, Israel, Jewish values, mitzvot, Hebrew, Jewish history, and Jewish traditions using creative, hands-on learning.
Collaborate with clergy, administrators, and fellow teachers.
Communicate regularly with families to support student learning.
Attend faculty meetings and professional development sessions.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

Experience working with children in a classroom, camp, synagogue, youth group, tutoring, or other educational setting.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
A passion for Jewish learning and Jewish education.
The ability to create engaging lessons using art, music, drama, movement, games, storytelling, and other interactive teaching methods.
A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment within a Conservative Jewish community.
