Job Duties & Responsibilities

Employee Engagement & Culture

Lead the implementation and ongoing management of WSFSSH’s signature employee engagement programs and culture-building initiatives.
Partner with the Managing Director to develop annual engagement strategies, work plans, event calendars, and implementation timelines aligned with organizational priorities.
Identify opportunities to enhance and expand employee engagement programs, recognition strategies, and culture-building initiatives.
Champion a culture of recognition, inclusion, collaboration, and belonging through programs that foster meaningful employee experiences across the organization.
Coordinate and support employee affinity groups, employee-led initiatives, and other community-building programs that advance the organization’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion goals byprovidingoperational guidance, resources, and logistical support.
Oversee all programlogistics, including scheduling, cross-site coordination, vendor management, communications, registrations, catering, and day-of execution.

Employee Recognition, Events & Community

Partner with the Managing Director to coordinate year-round employee recognition and appreciation initiatives, including recognition campaigns, milestone celebrations, employee appreciation events, cultural celebrations, and the procurement and distribution of awards, gifts, and promotional materials.
Lead the planning and execution of WSFSSH’s Annual Fall Fest and support other special organization-wide celebrations.
Manage the full event lifecycle, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor coordination, branded merchandise, catering, entertainment, communications, registration,logistics, and on-site execution.
Ensure staff events create welcoming and inclusive experiences that reflect WSFSSH’s mission, values, and culture.

Partnerships, Employee Experience, & Program Management

Serve as a trusted partner to the Managing Director and other leaders across the organization, helping departmentsidentifyopportunities to strengthen employee connection, recognition, and engagement.
Build andmaintaincollaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, community partners, and vendors.
Partner with the Communications Manager to develop internal communication strategies that increase awareness, participation, and excitement around engagement initiatives and organizational events.
Gather employee feedback and track participation and engagement metrics to measure program effectiveness,identifytrends, and inform continuous improvement.
Manage program and event budgets, procurement, contracts, vendor relationships, and administrative operationsin accordance withorganizational policies.
Maintain program documentation, implementation timelines, and operational processes that ensure the successful delivery of engagement programs and events.
Support new organization initiatives, culture-building efforts, and special programs that advance WSFSSH’s strategic plan and organizational priorities.

Required Skills / Abilities

Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and execute complex initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple departments and organizational levels.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Commitment to delivering exceptional employee experiences with a high degree of professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to analyze employee feedback and use data to improve programs and experiences.
Willingness and ability to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of organization-wide events.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management, internal communications, surveys, or design tools (e.g.CANVA).
Spanish languageproficiencyis a plus.

Education & Experience

4-year degree from an accredited college or university preferredORan equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
A minimum of two years of experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, employee engagement, workplace experience, organizational culture, community engagement, event management, or related experience.
Required Experience:
Management of budgets, vendors, contracts, and eventlogistics.
Worked or working in a nonprofit, supportive housing, social services, healthcare, or other mission-driven organization.
Support ofemployee engagement, employee experience, organizational culture, or belonging initiatives in a multi-site environment.
Support ofemployee affinity groups, employee resource groups (ERGs), engagement councils, or other employee-led councils.
Planning and executing large-scale employee events and recognition programs, or workplace experiences.
