Job description

You Will…
Revenue Plan & Target Ownership

Operationalize the financial architecture for net-new revenue initiatives: RPU expansion model by product line, assumptions, timeline, and revenue bridge to company targets
Define and track progress against quarterly and annual milestones. Be accountable for the number, not just the strategy behind it
Serve as the internal point of view on where incremental revenue comes from and what it requires to unlock

Ad Product & Format Commercialization

Operationalize the commercial requirements and revenue case for Fandom’s next-generation ad formats, translate market demand, advertiser feedback, and competitive positioning into product priorities for the platform team
Ability to bring custom offering to market by defining, packaging, pricing, and go-to-market sequencing for new formats as they come to market. This includes net-new formats with no existing analog, where Fandom’s IP-specific depth and lifecycle targeting (announcement → trailer → theatrical → streaming) create opportunities scaled platforms cannot replicate
Serve as commercial lead on initial format pilots, the product owner in client conversations, not the seller, and own the path from first deal to repeatable offering
Provide B2B marketing with the commercial inputs needed to build the sales narrative: proof points, pricing rationale, measurement story, competitive positioning

Data Strategy & Monetization

Operationalize the external revenue strategy for Fandom’s data assets. For example, how FanDNA Helix, intent signals, and IP health data get packaged, priced, and sold to brand and studio buyers.
Define deal structure, buyer prioritization, and commercial terms; own the revenue outcome against those partnerships.
Translate data signals into CPM premium and quantify the value of Helix enrichment in advertiser conversations and build it into format pricing

Strategic Partnerships & Market Development

Manage the partner ecosystem that accelerates Fandom’s commercial position through data partnerships, distribution integrations, platform relationships, and IP-owner alliances
Execute a tiered partnership strategy: core commercial partnerships, innovation partnerships (across identity, commerce, AI), and market expansion relationships
Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities including but not limited to licensing and platform integrations that expand Fandom’s revenue surface into new areas
Serve as primary point of contact for key partnerships across the ecosystem

Non-Endemic & Category Expansion

Translate Fandom’s high-intent fan audience story into new, interesting, buyable products for non-endemic categories such as QSR, CPG, Auto, Tech at the agency investment level
Provide guidance on audience segments and rationale behind measurement proof points that resonate with buyers.

You Have…
10+ years in revenue strategy, ad products, or commercial partnerships at a digital media, ad tech, or streaming platform
Have managed a team for 4+ years, managing a team of at least 1 person.
Experience taking a first-party data asset from internal capability to externally monetized product. Ideate, create, launched it, priced it, and closed deals against it
Be a subject matter expert for newly created data-led ad products across ad products, data, commerce, or performance by shipping a go-to-market strategy alongside marketing that resonates with market requirements.
Publisher or platform partnership experience understanding both sides of the inventory and data equation
Comfortable working with complex financial models; can manage and present regional/functional performance targets to senior leadership.
An ability to walk into a holding companies investment meeting to present and close
A thirst to build as an individual contributor
An operational orientation at the intersection of strategy and execution; the plan and the result are both yours
Analytically rigorousness to own the model
Comfort with ambiguity as this is an entirely new marketing channel with no existing playbook; that is the opportunity
