Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an engaging Spanish curriculum that aligns with educational standards and meets the diverse learning needs of students.

Plan and deliver effective and interactive Spanish lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural awareness.

Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and feedback, providing individualized support as needed.

Foster a classroom environment that is positive, inclusive, and conducive to learning, encouraging student participation and collaboration.

Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and resources to accommodate different learning styles and enhance student understanding.

Collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents to support student achievement and development.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language education.

Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as Spanish clubs or cultural events, to enrich the students’ learning experience.

Uphold professional ethics and standards as an educator and a member of the Jaguar family.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Valid state teaching certification in Spanish or eligibility to obtain certification.

Proficiency in Spanish, including strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Previous teaching experience at the high school level preferred.

Deep understanding of Spanish language and culture.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.

Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience and demonstrated results

Provide measurable data driven results on resume

Possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate high school scholars

Excellent communicator with professional interpersonal skills

Work independently
