HHD Cantor

We are a Reform synagogue in Sag Harbor, NY. with 300 families. We are looking for a cantor for the High Holy Days to co-lead with Rabbi Dan Geffen. We have a pianist for the High Holiday services. We use the Mishkan Nefesh (Reform) Machzor.

We are looking for a Cantor who is warm, kind, caring and who brings a positive presence to their work. As a Shaliach Tzibur, we are looking for someone who will work with Rabbi Dan to create services that balance tradition and contemporary music with a real emphasis on active participation from the community.

There is an opportunity for this to become a part time year-round position. All travel and lodging expenses are covered by the congregation.
