Job description
Duties
You will assess compliance of assigned NJROTC units’ operations and administration.
You will provide input, guidance, information, direction on, and approval of program goals and unit metrics for assigned units.
You will inspect the use of the 4-year standardized curriculum and verify compliance in meeting federal/state institution education requirements.
You will visit new units and units with a staff of all new instructors with no prior NJROTC experience within 60 days of their employment.
You will coordinate funding to maximize unit participation in field trips, orientation cruises and flights, ship visits, at-sea cruises and other types of military educational opportunities.
You will investigate issues concerning unit performance and advise headquarters on developments, media interests, and public affairs.
You will manage program policy implementation with host school officials.
You will conduct annual area-wide competitive field meets and comprehensive extracurricular competitive events

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
