Job description

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established procedures.
Control vehicle and pedestrian access at assigned entry points, direct individuals to appropriate locations, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or 7 years of security-related experience or a college degree.
Possess an Armed Guard Card is requiredd.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
