Engineering Manager

The Role:
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll lead and grow a high-performing engineering team while helping build Arch’s core platform and new offerings. This is a critical role at the intersection of people leadership and technical execution. Your work will directly shape engineering culture, team velocity, and the technology that powers our clients’ investment experience.

Your responsibilities will include:
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Support team members’ technical and professional growth through regular feedback, coaching, and goal setting.
Partner with product, design, and data teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver complex projects on time.
Drive the buildout of Arch’s core platform and new offerings, including automating complex operational processes.
Identify and prioritize infrastructure and process improvements that increase team velocity and engineering quality.

Reach out to us if you have:
6+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years managing and growing engineering teams.
A track record of building high-performing teams — hiring, developing, and retaining strong engineers.
Strong technical foundations that allow you to engage meaningfully in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical trade-offs.
Experience partnering with product and design to scope, prioritize, and deliver complex projects on time.
Excellent communication skills — you can translate between technical and business contexts and represent your team’s work to leadership and cross-functional partners.
