Job description

Responsibilities:
Assist clients in finance strategy, operational performance and process improvement initiatives and guide them through the change journey from current state business processes to future state
Develop industry-leading Payroll, Financial, or Supply Chain processes to help organizations drive enterprise performance using cloud-based technology (Oracle, Workday, or SAP)
Conduct analysis of finance process areas (financial planning & analysis, financial close and consolidation, management reporting and operational finance), focusing on developing and solutioning process, technology, data and organizational designs
Perform thorough research, data gathering and analysis across finance and accounting functional areas
Utilize recognized tools and techniques to execute structured problem-solving and deliverable development while proactively identifying, communicating and managing risks to protect the business and minimize impact of disruptions
Demonstrate strong client-facing skills and adaptability, whether interacting with clients directly at their client site, in the office, or virtually, as required by the demands of the business
Operate with integrity, professionalism and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors: Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management Information Systems, Information Systems/Technology, Supply Chain Management or related degree from an accredited college or university. A double major in Business and Technology is preferred.
Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
Knowledge of data analysis techniques including Gen AI and applicable uses
Ability to obtain a specific cloud-based technology solution (Oracle, Workday, or SAP) certification provided through the firm within three months of commencement of employment is preferred. Achieved certification to be actively maintained.
Strong in technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility skills; demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes, coupled with a professional demeanor and a collaborative leadership approach, in a dynamic, evolving environment
Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications used by our clients
Strong communication, organization and relationship-building skills, with the ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism, manage priorities across multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work in a professional services capacity
Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office / client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadership
Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
