Kennel Assistant

Essential Kennel Job Duties:

MONITORING all boarders indoors and in the play yard.
Working with a large group of dogs
Constantly walking and interacting with dogs
MAINTAINING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT!
Provide excellent customer service.
Keeping the facility clean and maintained
Record keeping, checking in and out dogs.
Kennel Assistants must be active and attentive at all times

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in client services.
At least 1 year working within a VETERINARY FIELD is preferred.
Must be computer literate; basic computer skills with ability to navigate new software.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
The ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
Handle dogs weighing up to 150 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods.
