Job description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Direct and optimize all facets of the drug screening department, including personnel and vendor relationships, to maintain elite standards of quality and delivery.
Develop and implement strategic policies and procedures to ensure the department operates efficiently and in strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to department staff, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous professional development, including hiring, evaluating, and coaching.
Ensure that all OHS services are administered with high precision and in a timely manner.
Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with clients to ensure their drug screening needs are met and exceeded.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as turnaround times, error rates, and customer satisfaction, to drive operational improvements.
Drive financial stewardship by developing, forecasting, and managing the department budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with operational and organizational goals.
Maintain expert knowledge of industry trends and changes in regulations related to drug screening, proactively implementing necessary process updates.
Maintain rigorous documentation standards and compliance audits to ensure data integrity and organizational adherence to industry regulations.
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, including managing contracts, pricing, and service performance.
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Laboratory Science, Business Management, or a related field; 3 years of equivalent leadership experience required.
Demonstrated experience in a high-growth, compliance-driven environment with a proven track record of managing operations and quality improvement initiatives.
In-depth knowledge of drug screening regulatory landscapes, industry best practices, and federal/state compliance requirements.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders.
Proficiency with industry-standard computer software and databases used in drug screening.
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
