Job description

Where You’ll Work:

This role will be fully remote from your home office, preferably located near the city where customer headquarters reside with travel up to 25% of the time.

What You’ll Do:

Work cross functionally to help deliver our strategic growth plans (SGP) and annual operating plans (AOP). This would include utilization of Marketing, Sales Planning, Commercial Finance, Category Development Team, Logistics, and Supply Chain.
Identifies customer specific business opportunities, set and communicate priorities, coordinate with Welch’s internal team and other necessary resources to achieve desired results.
Develop strategic customer relationships to drive topline and profit goals.
Provide monthly and annual forecasts.
Collaborate with Demand Planning Team to ensure effective production planning.
Demonstrate strong financial acumen to effectively manage established trade budgets and ability to manage customer P&Ls.
Leverage all available data sources to analyze shopper insights, customer trends, and competitor strategies that lead into actionable insights.
Execute all customer programming to include retailer forms, online sales info, new item forms, deduction management, etc.,
Timely updates and visibility to all internal sales/support systems.
Coordinate discovery meetings with all customers on new growth ideas.
Consistently execute Welch’s new item launches, shelving, pricing, and promotional strategies.

Strong industry acumen and business instincts.
Excellent listening, written, and communication skills.
Proven track record of exceeding established sales targets that deliver meaningful growth

What You’ll Need:

An equivalent combination of education and experience that proves competence in role may be considered.
Minimum 4-year degree required.
7+ years within consumer goods industry. National Account or Customer specific experience preferred.
Ability to analyze syndicated and panel data. Technical proficiency in a variety of PC-based applications and hardware.
Strategic thinker with strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Experience managing live trade accrual budgets.
Must be open to travel approximately 25%. Dependent upon business needs.
