Job description

Key Responsibilities
Assist in organizing, maintaining, and fulfilling all financial aspects of each grant, ensuring compliance with all grant/foundation expenditures.
Understand allowable expenses, conditions, and reporting deadlines for assigned grants.
Assist in maintaining files of all grants, budgets, contracts, notice of grant awards, revisions to grants, and other related documents.
Prepare all assigned required program grant billings and financial reporting within established time frames and work collaboratively to track fund utilization and spend down.
Assist in preparation for on-site visits and audits.
Special projects as needed to support Finance team.
Ad hoc reporting as needed.
Education, Experience, Licenses, & Certifications
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business-related field
1-3 years of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience
Grant Accounting experience preferred or a plus
Non-Profit Accounting experience preferred or a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
May consider an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training to meet the essential functions of the position
