Job description

Description
Who we are

Sproos is on a mission to un-basic your bathroom. We make colorful filtered showerheads and bathroom accessories built around one idea: Unbasic Everything. Our products are functional, design-forward, and unapologetically fun, and they're finding their audience quickly across DTC, Amazon, and a growing retail footprint.

We've grown aggressively and we're just getting started! The person coming into this role won't find a rigid playbook. They'll find an opportunity to build one.

The role

You'll own the brand marketing layer at Sproos: everything that makes our launches, collabs, and creative initiatives actually come to life. This is a true brand marketing role with real strategic scope. You'll work closely with the founding team and have direct exposure to key business decisions.

You care about storytelling, creative quality, and making sure everything Sproos puts into the world feels cohesive and intentional. You also know how to execute. You move fast, stay organized, and fix things before anyone has to ask.

This isn't a box-checking role. You'll pick up new skills, take on unfamiliar problems, and stretch into areas a more corporate job would never offer.

Is this you?

You love the brand and culture space, not just as a job but as a genuine interest. You have strong opinions about what looks right and you're not shy about advocating for the brand when something is off. When you hit something you've never done before, your first instinct is to figure it out.

If you get energy from building things rather than inheriting them, keep reading.

What you'll own

Brand marketing ownership

You are the keeper of the Sproos brand across every channel, campaign, and touchpoint. You understand it deeply, protect it fiercely, and make sure everything we put into the world reflects it.

Marketing planning and roadmap

Own our annual and quarterly marketing calendar, bringing together product launches, promotions, retailer activations, PR moments, and seasonal campaigns so the whole company knows what's coming and when.

Go-to-market execution

You make sure every asset, approval, and team member is aligned before launch day, including management of creative shoots from pre-production through final delivery. You build the launch blueprint and drive it across the finish line.

Agency and contractor management

Day-to-day point of contact across email/SMS, organic social, and creative partners. You handle approvals, keep things moving, and escalate only what truly needs leadership attention.

Creative operations

Own the flow of creative assets across campaigns and collabs including briefing, feedback, version control, and final delivery. You're the reason nothing gets stuck in review limbo.

Brand partnership management

Own the full lifecycle of brand collaborations from kick-off through shoot coordination, packaging, and marketing calendars.

Cross-functional and omnichannel coordination

The bridge between marketing, e-commerce, operations, and external partners. You'll jump into unfamiliar territory, whether that's an Amazon initiative, a retail activation, or a CTV test, and bring the same brand rigor to every channel we touch.

What we're looking for

5+ years in brand marketing at a DTC, CPG, or lifestyle brand. Think colorful, founder-led, or "cool DTC," not big corporate.

A genuine brand marketer at your core with a real aesthetic point of view and the instincts to back it up.

A natural storyteller and strong copywriter. Your copy has personality and makes people feel something.

Experience owning marketing calendars and turning a list of priorities into a plan the whole company can rally around.

Experience managing agency partners across multiple channels without letting the brand drift.

Proactively communicative and deeply organized. You keep people in the loop, flag problems before they blow up, and make your work visible without being asked.

Comfortable across Notion, Klaviyo or similar, and Basecamp or similar. Familiarity with Shopify and Meta Ads Manager is a strong plus.

Paid media creative experience is a bonus but not a requirement. Knowing what makes a great paid social asset and how creative connects to performance will serve you well here.

Responsive and async-ready. You stay looped in and don't go dark.
