Job description
Position Summary
The Microsoft 365 (M365) Administrator at MorseLife Health System is responsible for the administration, configuration, optimization, security, and ongoing support of the organization's M365 platform and services including SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Power Tools, Intune, Entra ID, and more. This role will create modern, high impact SharePoint sites for the organization. This role will also serve as an administrator for Intune and Entra ID, while administering and providing recommendations on the optimal usage of the M365 environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Design, administer, configure, optimize, and maintain the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment,
including evaluating and implementing technical solutions to improve security, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Develop, design, and promote modern SharePoint sites for the Organization.
• Serve as an administrator of Intune Endpoint Management. Responsible for day-to-day endpoint
management and updates consistent with all IT related policies and procedures.
• Serve as an administrator for Entra ID, supporting the implementation of IT policies and
procedures to ensure compliance and security.
• Develop and implement solutions using the M365 platform, including SharePoint, Teams, Intune,
Lists, Forms, Power Tools, etc.
• Package and distribute software applications via scripting through PowerShell or other MDM
related tools such as Intune.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical issues involving Microsoft 365 services and
applications.
• Develop technical documentation, implementation standards, system architecture, and user
training materials to support enterprise technology initiatives.
• Stay informed about changes to industry trends concerning the M365 environment through
industry publications and online sources.
• Document issues and solutions in the Help Desk ticketing system to maintain records of support
requests and resolutions.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security policies and operational
standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IT service delivery processes and improve
user experience.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science, or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 4+ years of work experience in information technology.
• 3+ years experience administering and supporting the M365 platform.
• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure).
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting with working knowledge of
Microsoft security models and features.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
• An ability to learn new skills quickly and be able to adequately apply those skills or train others in
those skills effectively and perform other duties as assigned.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills to assist and work effectively with all staff
and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Experience working with or in the healthcare industry preferred.
