Rehab Supervisor - Physical Therapy

The Rehab Supervisor assists Rehabilitation Director or Manager with coordination of physical, occupational and/or speech therapy operations, including performing treatments within the professional’s respective Practice Act, as prescribed by a referring physician.

Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans.
Provide patient care.
Communication Skills.
Orients, trains and supervises new staff as well as current staff

Qualifications
Education:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in OT or PT.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in SLP.
Experience:

Required – three years or more acute care experience.
Desired – 1 year or more in a supervisory capacity.
Licensure:

Licensed by Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance.
Certifications:

Required: Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, or Speech Language Pathologist, as required by State law
Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or documentation that you are in the process of completing CCC, in the case of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP
Basic CPR.
