Job description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create conceptual and publish-ready designs for email, web, app, ads, and social media
Support editorial and print design projects when/if applicable- packaging, mailers, event, and multi-page projects.
Create designs for email, with knowledge of best practices
Create designs for websites, from UI components & art placements to full page builds
Create graphic placements for video production, including creation of motion graphic templates using the Adobe Suite.
Bring experience creating artwork using traditional and digital methods, including popular AI tools, including Midjourney, ChatGPT, Grok, RunwayML, etc.
Work quickly and efficiently both independently and within a collaborative team
Stay current on design trends and apply insights to strengthen PragerU’s visual content
Develop user-friendly templates and collaborate with non-design staff on new formats
Take in feedback thoughtfully and adapt designs to improve performance and impact
Successful Candidates Will Possess:
Design Experience:
Must Have:
Print, Email, Web, Motion & Static design
Strong composition skills, strong typography sense, strong color application
Preferred:
Illustration, Type design, Photography, Videography, Social Media Savvy, Motion Graphics Templating, Photo retouching, digital painting
Software Skills:
Must Have:
Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, AfterEffects, Premiere)
Figma (especially prototyping, templating, design systems)
AI (two or more: Midjourney, Claude, GPT, Gemini, Runway, Higgsfield, Elevenlabs, etc.)
Preferred:
Email platforms (mailchimp, iterable, braze, etc.)
Shopify
Html, CSS, JS, AfterEffects expressions
Non-design knowledge base:
Must have:
High familiarity with PragerU content
Ability to use good judgement and showcase high agency on fast-paced projects
Preferred:
Solid conceptual understanding of PragerU’s mission, related philosophical concepts like free market economics, judeo-christian values, American history, etc.
Writing experience, particularly in marketing or creative capacities.
