Job description

Position Summary:

The Director of Adult Day Services will provide programmatic and administrative oversight of adult day and vocational services. The Director will work closely with other members of the administration team to ensure all aspects of the program run smoothly.

Essential Functions:

Oversee the daily operations of the Day Habilitation and Vocational Services programs, ensuring person-centered services that support individuals’ goals.
Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and evaluate the Program Assistant, Vocational Coordinators, the Job Developer, and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
Develop daily program schedules that align with individuals’ goals and staffing needs.
Maintain a safe, supportive environment and ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations, agency policies, documentation requirements, and required timelines.
Review Life Plans and monitor program implementation to ensure individuals’ goals are addressed through meaningful services.
Conduct regular program evaluations and implement improvements to enhance program quality and service delivery.
Serve as the primary contact for families and guardians, responding to questions and concerns in a timely manner.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Care Managers, clinicians, and other providers, to coordinate services and support positive outcomes.
Monitor program documentation, attendance, staffing, and billing to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of 3–5 years of management or program leadership experience, preferably in services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and staff development skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Team player with a collaborative, flexible, and solution-focused approach.
Knowledge of OPWDD regulations and person-centered services preferred.
Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
