Job description

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of Jewish day schools in the United States
Familiarity with the foundation and philanthropic sector
Strong communication skills and ability to work with others
Strategic thinking and sound judgment
Experience in grant initiation, development, monitoring, and analysis

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Remain current on research, activities, and trends in the area of Jewish day schools and day school programs
Identify opportunities for grant investment in the Jewish day school sector consistent with the foundation's mission
Participate in proposal review and due diligence processes
Monitor grantee compliance with grant agreements and reporting requirements
Generate reports for the board and/or committees of the board
Liaise with foundation's finance office as part of grants management
Perform such other duties as might be required

COMPENSATION & WORK SCHEDULE:

Full-time hybrid work schedule (currently 3 days in NY office, subject to change)
Annual salary of $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 commensurate with experience
